In the last month, we have had two events:

The Sauerkraut Festival went well for us.  Thanks to added volunteers
from a couple of the school parent groups, we were able to serve about
700 customers (mostly children) and still have time to talk to people
about funding opportunities for the schools.  This event also saw the
first presentation to the public of the upcoming sales of "memorial"
bricks to raise money for district wide "character" eduction to mesh
with the PBiS training program.

The Oregon Hill Farms hosted Cruise-In on October 10th saw an increase
in cars of about 50% from last year, similar to the increase we saw in
our June Cruise-In at the High School.  Both events got positive
feedback from the entrants, and we've partnered with one of the local
car clubs so they will take on the car show portion of the show next
June.  Overall, we're seeing more fruit from these events as word of
them gets around among the car clubs.

We also tried to have presentations at all of the school open houses.  I
haven't heard back from everyone who was representing us, but personally
I was getting more follow-up questions this year than I have before from
parents, so it seemed like we're getting the word out a little better.

Coming up we have taken on the sponsorship for the Holiday Bazaar
(formerly handled by the St. Helens / Scappoose Chamber of Commerce) on
the Saturday the 21st of November in the High School Cafeteria.

We're waiting to hear some final numbers for provisioning the laptops
and accessories for the High School Language Lab sometime soon, and are
looking forward to seeing something in place on that request.

Internally, we are nearing approval on revisions to the By-Laws and
Business Plan.  We have also obtained a CFFSE address for mailings,
looking forward to incoming orders for personalized bricks as well as
our regular business communications.  The address is PO Box 657,
Scappoose, OR 97056.

Thank You,
Tim Ohling
CFFSE President
